Removing Windows Messenger from Startup

URL Reference: http://www.devhood.com/messages/message_view-2.aspx?thread_id=39898

You can actually uninstall MSN Messenger.

Open c:\Windows\Inf\sysoc.inf (where c is your drive, Windows is the OS folder)

Remove "hide" from the following line:
msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,7

Goto Add/Remove programs > Add/Remove Windows Components

You should see an entry for MSN messenger at the bottom, allowing you to uninstall it.
